Welcome to Security Camera Integration Wiki

Usually, the light requirement for B/W camera is very low. Some light coming from a dim light bulb or a corridor lamp is already sufficient. If you want to take video from a location where the light is very dim or no light at all, then you need to install a security camera with built-in infrared lights. If a color camera is used under low light condition (even with infrared night vision device embedded), the video obtained will be in black and white only. If your Surveillance camera does not have a built-in infrared LEDs, you may install a Night Vision Projector which is a device sending out invisible infrared light to compensate the light for the camera. Your NorthEast Remote Surveillance representative can help determine the correct Video Surveillance Systems for your needs.

What is Access Control?

Access control simply means a system for controlling who enters a property or building. In the past, access control usually meant a guard or receptionist, a sign-in system and badges. Today, businesses and organizations have a range of options for staffed and unstaffed access control, including Intercoms, phones, electronic ID cards and badges, electronic keypads and biometric scanners to give employees, customers and visitors access to facilities.
Examples of biometric scanners are Finger Print Scaners and Retina Scaners. NorthEast Remote Surveillance offers the added benefit of providing an electronic video recording of who has entered and exited a building and who is on the premises at any given time.
